The VLEN coalition has responded to repeated accusations by the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), publishing what it says is an official statement from the Serbian Presidency. VLEN claims that the document reflects the issues discussed at a meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and former Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani.
According to the coalition, the Serbian Presidency’s statement also refers to the “advancement of the position of Serbs in North Macedonia.” VLEN interprets this as evidence that, during the period when DUI was part of the government, the Albanian issue was not its priority.

In its statement, VLEN says the document refutes DUI’s narrative about the so-called “Serbian world.” According to the coalition, the parties now accusing their political rivals had previously taken part in meetings where topics were discussed that, they say, do not align with the priorities of Albanians.
“DUI can no longer cover up its sins with press conferences and slander. Documents do not lie. VLEN does not deal in propaganda. We speak with facts,” the coalition said in its response.
