The Basic Court in Ferizaj will hold the next hearing in connection with the murder of Kosovo Police Sergeant Muhamet Lika.

The trial of six defendants accused of involvement in the police officer’s murder is expected to continue today at 09:00.
The indictment against the individuals identified by the initials H.B, R.M, V.Ç, E.L, SH.K and D.G was filed on January 9 of this year by the Serious Crimes Department of the Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj.
The indictment alleges that on April 1, 2025, at around 23:00 in Kaçanik, the defendants, acting jointly, shot and killed Sergeant Muhamet Lika. According to the Prosecution, the crime had been planned in advance and also involved a minor.
After all the evidence has been reviewed, the Prosecution has requested that the defendants be found guilty and receive the punishment prescribed by law. It has also requested that their pretrial detention be extended until the conclusion of the judicial proceedings.
The case remains under consideration by the judicial authorities.
