As citizens protest outside Parliament, Socialist Party MP Elisa Spiropali said the focus of institutions should be on work and on providing solutions for citizens.
According to her, political debates should not shift attention away from Parliament’s main responsibilities.

Spiropali also said that MPs and political forces should focus on internal reflection and on addressing citizens’ concerns.
“We have our job to do: to reflect, to listen and to offer solutions. We should not be dealing with the protesters but with ourselves. What is important is that Parliament be used to speak about people, about concerns, to offer solutions, to look more at ourselves, and each political force in that Parliament should analyze itself,” Spiropali said.
