On Thursday, police responded to the citizens’ protest in front of parliament by even using tear gas spray to drive them away. Tensions and an escalation of the situation were not absent today, as protesters had announced a gathering in front of the Assembly while the plenary session was also being held.
But during the protest and the chants of “Parliament of crime,” along with the throwing of eggs and flour, there also came the disproportionate response of the blue uniforms, which in some cases also used eye-irritating spray against citizens.
