Meteorologist Tanja Porja said that the first week of July will bring a gradual drop in temperatures and a change in weather conditions, although today remains very hot. She warned that from this afternoon until the weekend, rain showers are also expected in some parts of the country, while today the thermometer will reach up to 41 degrees Celsius.
“Sunshine and afternoon showers, but the maximum temperature today will reach 41 degrees. The southern half will be cooler. From tomorrow onward, a drop in temperatures will be felt, but the maximum will be 39 degrees Celsius, while from Thursday it will cool noticeably, with a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius from Friday through Sunday.

Porja stressed that another heatwave with temperatures of up to 41 degrees will arrive from July 8.
“As we have said before, July is a very hot month. We expect another heatwave to come during July, but the first week of July will continue with relatively cool temperatures, I would say, compared with what we have experienced.
Meanwhile, we are again expecting around July 8 and onward another heatwave, a heatwave that will be shorter-lived, but more intense in terms of readings, with temperatures higher than 41 degrees Celsius,” she said.
