The European Democrats Party (PDE / EDP) has once again reacted to the protests in Albania, criticizing the lack of institutional dialogue and the way protesters are being treated.
In a statement, the PDE stressed that 33 days have passed without a response and without dialogue, while according to them, means of force are being used more and more often instead of communication with citizens.

“Thirty-three days without a response. Thirty-three days without dialogue. And now, far too often, with rubber batons instead of listening. This is not how a democracy behaves: power must never become watertight, isolated from citizens, pain, and questions. Albania deserves institutions that respond, not institutions that strike. One detail fills our European hearts: the EU flag next to the Albanian one. Because Albania’s place is in Europe – and democracy is the bridge,” the reaction said.
