The head of the Trauma Emergency Department, Agustin Suma, spoke about the health condition of the people injured as a result of the accident on the Tirana-Durrës road. In a statement to the media, Suma said that one child is in serious condition, while five others are undergoing surgery.
The doctor added that 2 of them are foreign nationals whose identities have not yet been confirmed. Five others are in stable condition in the emergency ward and are not in danger for their lives.

“There are 2 minors, one aged 8-9 in serious condition, another 14-year-old in the observation ward. 5 patients aged 30-50 are undergoing surgery. 2 of them are foreign nationals whose identities have not yet been confirmed. They are in serious condition. Another 5 are in stable condition in the emergency ward. These five are not in danger for their lives. The medical team is closely monitoring the clinical progress of each patient,” he said.
