Prosecution seeks release of 14 detainees and restrictions on staying near police stations

The Tirana Prosecution Office has requested the release of 14 protesters who were arrested on Tuesday in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that the prosecution has requested that they be placed under the security measure of “obligation to appear” and be barred from staying for extended periods in front of Police Stations No. 1, 2 and 3 in the capital.

Meanwhile, the detainees have requested that their arrests be declared unlawful and that no security measure be imposed.
