Fire destroys home in Fier, owner suffers severe burns

At noon this Friday, a home in the Sheq i Madh neighborhood of Fier caught fire and was almost completely destroyed.

Residents of the area noticed the fire at around 11:00 a.m. and immediately alerted the fire service. Firefighters arrived at the scene and worked to extinguish the flames.

Thanks to their efforts, the fire did not spread to the other homes built very close to the house that had caught fire.

While attempting to save the home, the owner suffered severe burns. She was taken to Fier Regional Hospital for treatment, but due to her condition, she is expected to be transported to Tirana, where she will receive specialized medical care.

As a result of the fire, the family of four has been left homeless after their home was badly damaged.

The family members, who are facing financial difficulties, are appealing to institutions and citizens who are able to help them get through this situation and secure housing.

Meanwhile, efforts to determine the cause of the fire are continuing.
