The citizens’ revolt against Prime Minister Edi Rama and his cabinet entered its 47th day today. The first citizens gathered in Skanderbeg Square, from where they are expected to begin the announced march towards the Prime Minister’s Office.
Among the participants who came out to the square to voice their dissatisfaction was an elderly man. Speaking to News24, he raised concerns about the country’s economic and social situation, mentioning low wages and the dire state of the healthcare system.

“Everything is against the people. Wages are low and hospitals are falling apart. Rama does not acknowledge the situation. Nothing works in this country and we are not seeing anything good,” the outraged elderly man stated.
The protest is expected to continue with a march along Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, as citizens demand an immediate response and change from the government.
