Today, the National Council of the Democratic Party held a meeting in which several of the most important positions were voted on, including that of Secretary General.
In the race for the party’s second-highest position, Flamur Noka was seeking another term, while Saimir Korreshi was running against him. The debates and dissatisfaction surrounding the process appear to have also been reflected in the ballot papers.

Photos obtained by Top Channel show several ballots on which members placed a large cross over the names of both candidates, as a sign of their dissatisfaction.
At the end of the vote, Noka was confirmed once again as Secretary General, securing another four-year term as the Democratic Party’s number two.
