Trump: I know Putin well; he does not intend to attack NATO territory

US President Donald Trump said from the Oval Office that Vladimir Putin does not plan to attack NATO territory. “I am speaking with Putin. I know him very well,” he added.

According to Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have prepared a “proposal to end the war” between Russia and Ukraine. He also recalled that they have already managed to resolve “eight wars.”

The president’s two envoys will travel first to Russia and then visit Ukraine.
