Student protest escalates in the capital/ Crowd moves from “Durrës Street,” enters Ministry of Finance and sets the building on fire

The protest that began in the early hours of the morning is still continuing and is expected to last.

After leaving the Ministry of Education, the students moved their gathering toward the Ministry of Finance and the Central Election Commission. Protesters entered the premises of these institutions, taking out several chairs, tables and other objects.

Calls for resignations were heard continuously during the march. As the situation unfolded, protesters set fire to the Ministry of Finance building, while law enforcement forces monitored the crowd’s movements and adjusted security measures in the capital.
