Police in Shkodër arrested A. D., a 39-year-old resident of the city, in flagrante delicto. He is suspected of assaulting his partner and attempting to stab her. The injured woman is out of danger.

The incident was recorded at a residence in the “Partizani” neighborhood. Following a report of domestic violence, officers from the Shkodër Police Station immediately arrived at the reported address.
According to the official notice, officers caught A. D. inside the residence precisely as he was attempting to stab his partner. Police said the swift intervention prevented the domestic violence from escalating.
The knife allegedly used in the incident was seized as material evidence. After completing the procedural actions, police formally arrested the 39-year-old in flagrante delicto.
The procedural materials were submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal offenses of “Domestic violence” and “Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons.”
