As Minister of Justice, I do not view this anniversary merely as an opportunity to look back at the past. Above all, it represents a responsibility we have toward the future.

The Ohrid Agreement is not simply a document belonging to our history. It constitutes a standard and an institutional obligation that we must continue to strengthen every day.

It is my firm belief that justice must not be applied selectively, while equality cannot exist merely as a written principle. Both must be reflected in the day-to-day functioning of the state and in the trust that every citizen places in the institutions.

After 25 years, my message remains clear: the country’s future must be built on the rule of law, respect, equality and the dignity of every citizen.

This anniversary allows us to reflect on the journey so far, appreciate the results achieved and responsibly consider the challenges ahead.

Institutions have a duty not to regard this Agreement as a chapter that has already been closed. It remains part of the process of creating a democratic, equal and just state for all.

25 years of peace.

25 years of responsibility.

Our shared duty is to build a fairer future for everyone!
