Armando Valchizan, 42, has been extradited from Albania to Italy. He is also known under the identities Armando Dervishi, Altin Dervishi, Armando Gheorghe and Martin Dervishi.
Police said that in 2023, the Court of Pordenone in Italy sentenced Valchizan to 5 years and 9 months in prison for the criminal offenses of “Aggravated theft” and “Illegal immigration.”
Meanwhile, in the other operation, G. C., alias Y. D., a 33-year-old Venezuelan citizen, was extradited from Germany to Albania.
He was wanted after the Tirana Court ordered his pretrial detention in 2025. The Venezuelan citizen is accused of the criminal offenses of “Trafficking in adults” and “Exploitation of prostitution.”
Both extraditions were made possible through cooperation between Interpol Tirana and the relevant authorities in Italy and Germany, in accordance with procedures for bringing internationally wanted individuals to justice.
