Citizens have begun marching from Skanderbeg Square toward the Prime Minister’s Office on the 72nd day of protests against Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government cabinet.

Carrying placards and organized into groups, the protesters are walking along the main boulevard as chants against the head of government are repeatedly heard from the crowd.
“Edi Rama, you traitor!” and “Rama, resign!” are among the chants accompanying the march. The protesters are demanding Edi Rama’s immediate removal from power and that he be held accountable before the law.
The march is continuing toward the Prime Minister’s Office, where the rally’s main speeches are expected to be delivered.
