Potential Tragic Event Prevented: Mother and Son Rescued from Drowning at Shëngjin Beach

This Monday, a mother and son risked drowning at Shëngjin beach. The incident took place in the area of “Rana e Hedhun,” as the mother and her young son had just entered the water to bathe and found themselves in danger.

Thanks to the intervention of coastal lifeguards and some beachgoers, along with the prompt arrival of hospital emergency services, they were rescued after having swallowed a lot of water.

They are receiving medical treatment at the Regional Hospital of Lezha and their vital signs are stable.
