Police intervene at peaceful student rally near the Ministry of Education, several escorted away

During a student rally on Durrës Street, near the Ministry of Education, police intervened and escorted away several young people taking part in the protest.

Preliminary reports indicate that the protest was peaceful when officers intervened. Police have yet to explain why the young people were escorted away.

Officers also followed some of the other protesters toward Skanderbeg Square.
