A person was detained by police in Skopje after narcotics were found during a search and subsequently confiscated.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that, based on operational information obtained earlier, during the night of August 4/5, 2026, officers from the Unit for Combating Illegal Trafficking within the Skopje Department of Internal Affairs searched J.B., S.V. and D.P. on Partizanske Odredi Boulevard in Skopje.
The search revealed that D.P. had two jars containing a total of 25 packages of marijuana. Police also seized a digital scale with marijuana residue.
Following his arrest, the person was taken to the “Gjorče Petrov” Police Station. By order of the public prosecutor, he was detained pending further proceedings.
