Yesterday, the 38th consecutive protest was held on the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, with citizens calling for the government’s removal and the unconditional resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
One element that once again stood out was the banners and children’s drawings, as for several days they have been conveying their messages through paintings displayed along the boulevard.

The messages shown during the gathering addressed various social issues, ranging from education and healthcare to justice and property protection.
The banners read: “One madman drives a country mad” “We are protesting failed education, corrupt justice, degenerated healthcare and all the missing structures” “The time of scoundrels, but the homeland belongs to Albanians” “The state must protect property, not the robbers. Rama resign” “Justice for property owners, not billions for those in power” “Do you want, Gjergj, to give land to Osman Bey?”
The protesters said they will continue the gatherings until their demands are met, while the atmosphere on the boulevard was marked by chants against the government and messages calling for political change.
