PUKË—Just a few days after a fire engulfed around 3,000 hectares, a new fire has been reported in the Tërbun forest massif.

The flames appeared in another section of the forested area, and their spread remains concerning because of the difficult terrain and dense vegetation.
Initial suspicions are that the fire may have been deliberately started. The authorities are expected to carry out investigations to determine the cause of the blaze.
Firefighters have been dispatched to Tërbun to intervene, while the service is simultaneously managing other fires in different areas.
The incident is also significant because the municipality recently began consultations on the installation of a wind farm in the area.
