The Ministry of Defense has announced that 32 fires were recorded across the country over the past 24 hours. Of these, 11 remain active, 5 are under surveillance, while 16 have been extinguished.

A total of 735 local personnel and 64 fire engines have been mobilized nationwide to manage the situation. The Armed Forces have also joined the operations, with 475 personnel, 7 fire engines, 4 helicopters and 1 Air Tractor aircraft.
For today, the deployment of 160 military personnel has been planned in the areas where intervention is ongoing.
The main response has focused on the areas where the fires pose the greatest risk.
On Mount Dajti, in addition to the municipal structures, 77 military personnel and 1 helicopter joined the operation today.
In Bardhaj, Shkodër, 5 fire engines, the forestry service and civil emergency structures are working. Support from the Armed Forces includes 1 fire engine and 1 helicopter, while 33 personnel and 1 ambulance have been added to the operation today.
The situation in Fier is being tackled by 13 fire engines, 4 water tankers, 55 personnel and 90 other forces. Also present on the ground are 90 military personnel, 1 helicopter and 1 Air Tractor aircraft, while support from 33 personnel continues today.
The operation in Himarë has concluded after the fire was extinguished. A total of 26 fire engines, 120 personnel, 40 volunteers, 67 municipal personnel, 20 police personnel and 180 Armed Forces personnel, supported by 2 helicopters, were deployed to deal with the situation.
The National Civil Protection Agency is continuously monitoring the situation across the country, in close cooperation with the prefectures, municipalities and civil protection system structures.
Operational personnel and equipment remain on the ground and on standby to intervene in any area where needed, with the protection of lives, homes, citizens’ property and the environment as the top priority.
