The Mayor of Podujeva Municipality, Shpejtim Bulliqi, has conveyed his most sincere condolences following the death of the 25-year-old, whose lifeless body was found today in the waters of Batllava Lake after a search-and-rescue operation.
The 25-year-old was recovered from the lake today, while the search for him had begun yesterday by specialized FSK diver units and other local authorities.

In a public post, Bulliqi thanked the emergency teams and citizens who took part in this difficult operation.
“I have just been informed that the lifeless body of the young man has been found in Batllava Lake. On my own behalf and on behalf of the Municipality of Podujeva, I express my most sincere condolences to the family for the loss of their loved one. I thank the teams of the Kosovo Security Force, the Kosovo Police, the Firefighters, the Podujeva Main Family Medicine Center, and all the citizens who contributed to this search-and-rescue operation. God willing, may we not have such grave cases for any of us,” Bulliqi wrote.
