A 34-year-old man stabs three passersby in Clermont-Ferrand, wounded by police during the intervention

In Clermont-Ferrand, France, three passersby were attacked with a knife by a man.

The incident was reported by the television channel France Info, while police said the perpetrator was neutralized after armed officers intervened.

During the neutralization, he was wounded by gunfire, but is out of danger.

“At the moment, there are no elements suggesting a terrorist nature to the incident,” the local prosecutor said.
