During a press conference, the Minister of Local Government, Ervin Demo, said that emergency infrastructure will be improved thanks to a fund of 20 million euros.
Demo stressed that urban transport will be improved using funding of 10 million euros. The minister also said that a support package for those on the front line of the fires will be introduced very soon.

“20 million euros will be focused on logistics when it comes to emergency infrastructure. We have funding of 10 million euros that will be focused on a new program to improve urban transport, which is making the problems stand out even more clearly. I believe this will also be a response to the complaints we encounter. Very soon we will come out with a support package for those who are on the front line. The firefighters’ bonus will be distributed to all those who fight the fires during the season,” the minister said.
