Activist Rron Gjinovci has reacted harshly toward Serbia, saying that it constitutes a “definitively genocidal” society and state.

According to him, it no longer makes sense to continue efforts to build relations with a state and society that honors people convicted of genocide.
“Serbia, not only as a state but also as a society, is definitively genocidal. I think it is no longer worth trying with that state and that society, which glorifies a person convicted of genocide,” Gjinovci wrote.
He called on Kosovo to close all its borders with Serbia and sever all relations with it until Serbian society changes—a process that, according to him, may happen only in the distant future.
“Kosovo should close all its borders and sever all relations with Serbia until it normalizes as a society, perhaps sometime in the next century,” he stated.
Gjinovci also commented on the funeral ceremony with state honors, proposing that it be broadcast live by international media.
“Otherwise, efforts should be made to have the funeral with state honors broadcast live by international media, so the whole world can see what a genocidal society and genocidal state Serbia is,” Gjinovci wrote.
