The application process for agricultural subsidies for 2026 is now open. Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Albrim Hoxha, urged farmers not to wait until the last moment, but to submit their applications as soon as possible to secure the funds they are entitled to.

In a statement to the media, Hoxha stressed the importance of taking advantage of this opportunity in a timely manner. “It is essential that farmers apply now and not delay. The state is offering concrete support, and I invite you to benefit from it. If you need clarification or assistance during the procedure, the ministry’s regional units are ready to help you,” he said.
Applications are accepted exclusively online, through the digital platform of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development. The scheme includes several support categories: basic and additional income payments, calculated based on hectares of land and number of livestock, as well as direct subsidies per unit of product. Funding is also foreseen for production factors and for small farms.
Before starting the application procedure, agricultural producers must verify and update their information in state registers. To assist with this process, the Agency has made available on its official portal the Guide to Direct Payments in Agriculture for 2026.
The deadline for submitting applications is set for September 30, 2026.
