Prime Minister Edi Rama was met with protests after traveling to Düsseldorf, Germany, for a meeting with the Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst.
At the start of the meeting, a group of Albanian protesters, carrying national symbols and calling for Rama’s resignation, raised their voices against the actions of the head of the Albanian government.

The protesters held banners and voiced demands against laws that they say favor the privatization of public assets, while also repeatedly, in step with the revolt in Tirana, calling for Prime Minister Rama to step down.
This episode is the second in recent weeks, as Rama was also met with protests by the Albanian diaspora when he was in Basel, Switzerland, while mass protests in Tirana had already begun.
