On the afternoon of this Tuesday, two road accidents were recorded in Pogradec within a short span of time. Preliminary suspicions indicate that rainfall and wet asphalt may have contributed to the drivers losing control of their vehicles.
The first incident occurred in Qafë Pllocë, on the new road axis, where the driver of a van lost control and crashed into the roadside barriers.

As a result, the driver was injured and was urgently taken to the Pogradec Municipal Hospital for medical assistance.
Another accident was reported on the Pogradec–Lin road, near the village of Pojskë. According to preliminary data, at least three people were injured in this crash, while one of them was trapped inside the vehicle, making the intervention of emergency services necessary.
Police and investigative teams arrived at both scenes and are working to clarify the circumstances of the accidents.
