In his speech, Konjufca described Kosovo as clear proof that this cooperation yields results. He recalled the country’s journey: from the rubble of war to a functioning democracy that today moves forward in conditions of peace – progress made possible, according to him, thanks to the strength of domestic institutions as well as the strong alliance with the USA and the EU.
Referring to the terrorist acts that occurred in Banjska and in the Ibar-Lepenc canal, the foreign minister emphasized that despite the great risks and attempts to destabilize the country, Kosovo’s state institutions have acted with determination and have shown full capacity to manage these situations, guaranteeing national security – always with the uninterrupted support of transatlantic allies.
In conclusion, Konjufca noted that Kosovo’s story speaks clearly of the fruits of transatlantic unity, and that preserving this cooperation remains essential for the security and future prospects of the entire region.
