In a social media post, Osmani expressed her shock and called on institutions to take responsibility, while urging concrete measures against violence against women.
“A society that mourns after every murder but fails to stop violence before it is too late must face its responsibility,” she wrote.
According to Osmani, threats and cases of violence cannot be ignored, as institutional intervention must take place before situations reach a tragic conclusion.
“Women should not have to die for institutions to wake up. Threats should not end up in the archives, and violence should not end in graves,” her statement said.
The MP called for justice for the victims and accountability for every institutional failure, stressing that concrete action is needed, not just statements.
“Justice for the victims. Accountability for every failure. Action, not words. Not one more life lost! Not one more excuse!” Osmani concluded.
