Parliament Speaker Albulena Haxhiu has reacted to the serious incident that occurred today in Livoç, Gjilan, where a woman and a man were killed, while another person was injured.

Haxhiu extended her condolences to the victims’ families and said the news had shocked her, IndeksOnline reports.
She called on the responsible institutions to conduct a professional, impartial and thorough investigation in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Haxhiu also wished the injured person a speedy and full recovery, while stressing the need for the affected families to receive the appropriate support, with their privacy and dignity respected.
“I was shocked by the news of the killing of a woman and a man in Livoç i Ulët, Gjilan, as well as the injury of another person. Two lives violently lost and families facing immense pain today.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families, while wishing the injured person a speedy and full recovery.
I expect the responsible institutions to conduct a full, impartial and professional investigation so that all the circumstances of this crime are clarified and those responsible are brought to justice.
At this difficult time, the affected families must be offered all the necessary support, while respecting their privacy and dignity.”
