Fire engulfs the village of Armen in Selenicë as strong winds accelerate the spread of the flames

A large fire broke out this Wednesday in the village of Armen, part of the Municipality of Selenicë, engulfing wide areas of land.

The flames have damaged vegetation, olive trees and other fruit trees, while spreading rapidly through the area.

Strong winds are fueling the fire’s spread and making it more difficult to contain. The situation remains critical as teams work to bring the flames under control.
