The deadline set by the Constitutional Court for the election of the president expires at 24:00, while so far there has been no indication that Kosovo’s Parliament will convene in session tonight.

Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, is calling for the president to be elected this evening. According to him, the bill on the Special Court should be voted on in its second reading on Thursday.
Regarding this issue, Kurti has announced that he will hold a press conference at 19:45.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Kosovo insists that Parliament approve, in its second reading, the bill amending the Law on the Special Court.
The “Not in My Name” initiative has also announced a protest tonight at 21:00 in Skanderbeg Square in Pristina.
