Three consecutive earthquakes struck Adana, Turkey, around midday on Sunday, 10/4. The tremors were recorded at 14:19 with a magnitude of 4.7, at 14:36 with a magnitude of 4.6, and at 14:43 with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale.

The Euro-Mediterranean Institute said the earthquakes’ epicenter was 21 kilometers northwest of Antirin and 68 kilometers west of Kahramanmaras. According to the data, their focal depth was 10 kilometers.
Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority announced after the tremors that no adverse situation had been reported up to that point. The institution added that teams were continuing field inspections and assessments, while extending its best wishes to the affected citizens.
Adana Governor Mustafa Yavuz also said that he had not received any reports of negative incidents so far. He said that on-site checks were continuing.
