The VLEN coalition will present Jakup Huseini tonight as its candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Bërvenica. The convention, where the program for the municipality’s development will also be unveiled, will take place at 8:00 p.m. at the primary school in Çellopek.

Huseini’s program includes measures in several sectors, including improving infrastructure, boosting the local economy, youth-oriented policies, environmental protection and strengthening transparency in the local administration.
VLEN links Jakup Huseini’s candidacy to its aim of expanding the number of municipalities led by members of the coalition. “With VLEN’s experience in central government and in governing 10 municipalities, where numerous projects have been carried out by VLEN officials, we aim for Bërvenica to become the 11th municipality,” the statement said.
According to the coalition, Huseini is presenting a clear vision and a concrete plan for the advancement of Bërvenica. In his program, cooperation between local and central government plays an important role.
“Today’s convention marks the next step on the path toward new governance in Bërvenica, with direct cooperation between local and central government,” VLEN said in its announcement.
