The Organization of War Veterans of the KLA has warned that it will take stronger action if no political and procedural agreement is reached by Sunday on voting on amendments and additions to the Law on Specialist Chambers.

In a notice published on Facebook, the OVL-KLA called on citizens to gather outside the Kosovo Assembly on Monday, October 5, at 12:00.
According to the organization, the categories emerging from the KLA war are outraged by the approach of Mr. Kurt, whom they accuse of making political calculations with the pain, sacrifice and dignity of Kosovo’s citizens. The OVL-KLA said that the deadline for reaching an agreement that would enable the immediate voting on both readings of the amendments and additions to the Law on the Special Court expires on Sunday. The statement was reported by Klankosova.tv.
The organization warned that failure to reach an agreement by that deadline would be followed by an escalation of actions by the veterans, stressing that their patience—and that of the citizens of Kosovo—has run out. According to the reaction, the authorities are delaying and politically exploiting an issue that directly affects thousands of families and people who bear the scars of the war. For this reason, the OVL-KLA reiterated its invitation to participate in Monday’s rally at 12:00 outside the Kosovo Assembly.
