My intensive week began in Luxembourg, where we formalized Kosovo’s membership in the European Centre for Democratic Resilience. Then, in Brussels, I spent three days in productive meetings and discussions on Kosovo’s progress toward joining the European Union.
In Brussels, I met with the Commissioner for Enlargement, Ms. Marta Kos, senior representatives of European institutions and members of the European Parliament.
At each meeting, I stressed that Kosovo has made extraordinary progress in recent years. This progress must now be reflected in concrete steps toward membership, starting with obtaining candidate country status and opening accession negotiations.
