According to VLEN, for a long period Albanian municipalities remained outside the focus of investments, while development initiatives, as they say, were conditioned by party interests rather than the real demands of citizens.
In a press release, they assess that their engagement in the Government has brought concrete changes, emphasizing that 306 projects are changing the face of Albanian municipalities.

“This is not just a number. It is proof that public funds are being directed where development is needed and not where political interests dictate. In the last few days alone, four municipalities led by VLEN have delivered four major infrastructure investments. In Tetovo, ‘Sami Frashëri’ Street was inaugurated; in Zhelinë, the Dëbërcë–Çiflik road was completed after more than three decades of waiting; in Bogovinë, work began on the Rakovec–Bogovinë road; while in Dibër, investments continue with ‘Fuad Dibra’ Street,” their reaction states.
Furthermore, VLEN stresses that these investments show that with responsibility, political will, and institutional cooperation, projects do not remain only on paper, but are turned into concrete work that accelerates local development and improves conditions for life and the economy.
“The time of empty political statements is gone; VLEN has created a new standard. We are now measured by the kilometers of roads built, by the projects that begin and are completed, by the investments that had been blocked for years and that today are being realized one after another,” VLEN says.
