Activist and march organizer Visuar Dalipi told News24 that they are preparing a letter for the foreign embassies in the country, informing them of the threats that, according to him, sections of the government are making against the protesters.

Visuar Dalipi: The government is protecting crime, while gangsters are free. These are the final attempts. We have drafted a letter for all the embassies, regarding all those people who have been threatened. We will notify every embassy we can. At the very least, we will inform them, even if they do not give us assistance.
Ola Bruko: You are determined to see this protest through to the end…Visuar Dalipi: For 1 month and a few days I have not been sleeping, only 2-3 hours a day. I started this battle on social media 3 years ago, when I told Albanians to stop, because these things were going to happen. I was the first to say they should get up from their coffee. We are fighting for their future, while they film us and laugh… They should come there for the future of their children. For 1 month I have not seen my son. This should not happen. After 3 months they approve the SHISH law, which could allow entry into homes and inspections, even more dictatorial than during the dictatorship.
Ola Bruko: There are threats against you, but you are not stopping, nor are you being stopped by attempts from politics to divide you…Visuar Dalipi: We stood for 2 hours in extreme pain from the spray; others do not know what effects it has. It caused skin burns that lasted until the next day. We washed ourselves with hydrogen peroxide and the skin still feels it even today. It is designed so that, when it is used to stop someone, it is used against bears. I have video footage showing them being hit in the eyes from close range. I also received the videos of Osman Stafa, whom I thank for his resilience and for everything. These are violations of human rights.
The embassies and the whole world must know. Everything started over Zvërnec. In 1990, the students started the protest because the electricity was cut off for 2 days… The same thing happened today. Those who turned off the lights in ’90 deserve a coffee. And those who did what happened in Zvërnec should be given a coffee too, because they woke up the Albanians.
