A shocking incident has stunned public opinion in recent days, after a video showing several young girls assaulting another teenage girl circulated widely online.
The incident, recorded about a month ago and made public only recently, sparked deep outrage in society, while many public figures have also spoken out on their social media accounts.

Most recently, singer Luiz Ejlli reacted through a lengthy message, expressing his concern about the phenomenon of violence among young people and the way such cases affect not only the victim, but society as a whole.
“There are events that leave you not only speechless, but breathless. When one child raises a hand against another child, it is not only that child who has failed — we have all failed,” Luiz Ejlli wrote, also calling for more education and greater care for children.
“A society does not collapse when it hears screams, it collapses when it becomes used to them. Violence is not born in a single day. It is fed by indifference, by hatred, by a lack of education, and by the belief that humiliating others makes you strong.
Courage is not knocking down someone who cannot defend themselves. Courage is not leaving anyone alone.
Videos can be deleted with a click, but the wounds left by humiliation do not disappear for years. A bruise fades with time; a broken soul may remain wounded forever.
Children do not only need schools that teach them mathematics and language. They need families, teachers and a society that teaches them what it means to be human. Do not share this story only to express outrage — share it so that it is not repeated!
A nation does not become great because of the stadiums or squares it fills, but because of the children it manages to protect. Violence is never strength. Strength is stopping it,” Ejlli said.
