This Friday, October 16, 2026, police continued their violent conduct toward young protesters outside the Ministry of Education.
After a standoff in which the young people threw stones and police responded with water and tear gas, the protesters moved away from the ministry building because of the large amount of tear gas.

One of the young men, who was doing nothing, was standing in front of the police when an officer charged at him and violently slammed him to the ground, putting his head at risk.
The young man then appears to argue with the officers, telling them that he has two sick parents: Hey, brother, I have 3 million lek to pay for school! I have two sick parents! You’re the first to beat us, the first to hit us, the first to trample us underfoot.
