The Transparency Board has decided to change diesel and gasoline prices again. Diesel has fallen by two lek, while gasoline has risen by one lek.

In the retail market, a liter of diesel will be sold at 211 lek, down from 213 a day earlier, while gasoline will be sold at 195 lek per liter, up from 194 set yesterday.
The prices set by the Board will enter into force today, the 10th, at 12:30 and will remain valid until the Board’s next meeting, when changes in sale prices will be reflected.

Pursuant to Council of Ministers Decision No. 711, dated 16.09.2026, “On declaring a special situation in the hydrocarbon market,” in implementation of Article 21/3 and Article 21/5 of Law No. 8450, dated 24.2.1999, “On the processing, transportation and trading of oil, gas and their by-products,” as amended, as well as Normative Act No. 1, dated 3.4.2026, “On an addition to Law No. 61/2012, ‘On excise duties in the Republic of Albania,’” as amended, the Board of Transparency and Temporary Restriction of Wholesale/Retail Trade Prices of Oil and Gas By-products held its next meeting.
Accordingly, on 10 October 2026, the Transparency Board decided:
The retail sale price of the gasoil by-product of SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 211 lek per liter, while the wholesale sale price shall be no more than 199 lek per liter.
The retail sale price of the gasoline by-product of SSH EN standard shall be no more than 195 lek per liter, while the wholesale sale price shall be no more than 183 lek per liter.
The prices set by the Board will enter into force today, the 10th, at 12:30 and will remain valid until the Board’s next meeting, when changes in sale prices will be reflected.
We draw the attention of every wholesale and retail operator of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.
In case of violations found by various operators, activity will be suspended.
