The Albanian-American community has announced that it will hold a protest outside the United Nations (UN) building in New York following the latest ruling by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.

The “Freedom Has a Name” platform said the rally, called by members of the community, will take place on Tuesday, September 22, starting at 6:00 p.m. outside UN headquarters.
The initiative follows the ruling by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
Through the protest, the organizers aim to make public their position on the ruling, as well as on developments following the judicial proceedings in The Hague.
