Late yesterday, a serious incident was recorded in Sweden, where a young Albanian man was shot dead. News of his death was made public through heartbreaking messages posted by family members on social media, in which they wrote that Genti was killed by mistake.
According to suspicions, the young man may have been a случайный passerby when the clash between criminal gangs escalated to the use of weapons, costing Gent Maksutaj his life. His exact age has not yet been confirmed, but he is said to have been around his 20s.

Gent’s father has also expressed his grief over this tragic loss.
“Rest in peace my son. Forever in our hearts. Dad loves you very much,” Gent Maksutaj’s father wrote in a reaction posted on Facebook.

As there is still no announcement regarding the Albanian’s funeral ceremony, the family is expected to issue an official statement.
Swedish media have also given attention to the case, reporting that police received notification of gunfire at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, in Kvarngärdet in Uppsala.
As soon as they arrived at the scene, police began work to fully clarify what had happened and to identify and arrest the perpetrator.
However, it has been reported that a person around 18 years old was detained in the early hours of this morning.
The causes of this incident remain unclear, but the possibility that it stemmed from clashes between criminal groups has not been ruled out, as the victim’s relatives have also claimed.
