The official “Audi” vehicle, previously purchased by former mayor Ramiz Merko, has been sold by the Municipality of Struga through a public auction.
According to the municipality’s announcement, nine bidders from Struga, Ohrid, Bitola and Skopje took part in the auction process. The highest bid reached 22,000 euros and was submitted by a company from Bitola, which was declared the winner.

Municipal authorities said the revenue generated from this sale will be used to reduce the municipality’s debt.
The announcement also stresses that the current administration aims to rationalize spending and does not see the use of luxury vehicles in the municipal administration as necessary.
The Municipality of Struga also underlines that it will continue with policies to reduce spending, increase transparency and manage public finances.
