According to him, the authorities could not remain silent and fail to respond while citizens were reporting severe health symptoms. For this reason, criminal complaints have been filed against the responsible health institutions.
Spasovski said responsibility lies with the relevant institutions, which, as he put it, took no action for six days from the moment reports of severe symptoms began.
“When people report to the responsible state authorities that they have severe symptoms and it takes six days to take action, responsibility clearly lies with the health authorities. For this reason, complaints have been filed against them, as we believe they must answer for their actions from the moment the cases were opened,” Spasovski said.
He stressed that the issue is directly related to the health of citizens, emphasizing that thousands of people in Gostivar were poisoned by contaminated water. Spasovski added that the prosecution has all the necessary mechanisms to fully clarify the case./Telegrafi/
