Shot dead today in Sarandë, Artan Myrtaj’s mother bursts into tears when she sees her son lying on the ground: “Oh, my mother’s son…” (VIDEO)

On Sunday morning, a shooting attack shook Sarandë, where 44-year-old Artan Myrtaj was shot dead in the middle of the city. The serious incident occurred in the center of the coastal city, where, according to preliminary information, two masked individuals riding a motorcycle approached the 44-year-old and opened fire on him.

At the time of the attack, Myrtaj was accompanied by his mother. The bullets struck the 44-year-old, who died at the scene. Fortunately, his mother was not physically injured.

A passerby was also wounded in the shooting and was taken for medical assistance.

After the attack, the perpetrators quickly fled the scene on a motorcycle, while the area was cordoned off by police, who began collecting evidence and working to shed light on the circumstances of the attack.

Footage obtained from the scene shows the victim’s mother trying to approach and see her son’s body, while police officers attempt to stop her.
