Agron Shehaj, leader of the Mundësia Party, has commented on a social media post by Prime Minister Edi Rama that paired a message with footage of a lion.

Shehaj compared it to a similar post by Mayor Erion Veliaj, who is in pretrial detention and had posted an image of a lion before his arrest by SPAK.
In a video message, the Mundësia leader said Rama’s efforts against the Special Prosecution Office were destined to fail because, in his view, the prime minister had already lost his battle with the justice system.
Shehaj said the lion Rama posted was a message to SPAK, arguing that the prime minister had chosen a larger lion than the one Veliaj had used earlier.
“Rama has posted a lion and sent a message along with it. It is unclear whether the message is intended for Braçe or SPAK,” Shehaj said.
He added that, jokes aside, Rama was not so desperate that he would send messages to Braçe through posts like this.
“The lion is clearly a message to SPAK, because Veliaj did the same thing before his arrest. He posted a photograph of a lion on social media,” Shehaj said.
According to Shehaj, Rama, being bigger and more important than Veliaj, chose to post a video featuring a bigger lion.
“Rama must understand that he has lost his battle with the justice system. Defeating SPAK would mean killing Albania’s future, and that will not happen,” the Mundësia Party leader said.
